Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience. The rooms, situated in a beautiful subtropical garden, were adequate and the air conditioning worked excellently. While I only used the room for essential functions like sleeping and getting ready to go out, they were lovely and generally clean. The bungalow-style rooms were a big plus for us, especially as my wife has mobility issues. However, getting to the beach, main pool, and eateries was a challenge due to a steep slope. The room consisted of a double bed and 2 single pull-down sofas, not ideal for twin toddler boys at 3. We had a view of a rooftop, but after resolving an issue with a bitten mattress that was promptly changed, our stay improved.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful overall. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets, although the floors were not mopped daily, which was a minor issue. The pools were very nice and all kept very clean. The restaurant had a good variety of choices. The service was top-notch with friendly staff, but there were sometimes long queues. The location overlooking the bay was idyllic, making meals at the restaurant special. The reduced activities due to speed boats were a bit disappointing. The dining options had a good variety, yet not all dishes met my expectations.
I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, although the shower cubicle was a bit on the small side. The garden bungalow by the main pool was compact but large enough, featuring bunk beds, a large king size bed and a bathroom with a shower. However, being located in a building towards the back of the resort offered some peace and quiet.
